I am from the United States and am living and working in Gothenburg and Dalsland, Sweden. The Swedish culture and nature has drawn my interest for some time, but it was Gothenburg University that brought me here. After completing a MFA I decided to revive my old business afresh in a new place. Most of my time is spent creating social objects, spaces and events.
An artist collective called Not Quite caught my attention when I first came to Sweden and now I am a full time member. We rent spaces in an old paper factory in Fengersfors. The environment, spaces and community of the factory and collective is inspiring and provides a vast range of potential. The factory now hosts a bakery, café, gallery, multiple exhibition spaces, and a large metal studio where most of my projects end up at one point or another.
